Tools
Brush, roller or squeegee.
Coverage
Usage: 1.5-2.5 L/m2.
DURING USE:
Directions for use
Before use, stir well manually until a homogeneous colour is obtained. Surfaces must be dry, clean and free of dust and grease. Sand them if necessary. Apply using a brush, roller or rubber squeegee (min. 2 layers), with a waiting time of approx. 10 min. between the layers. Tip: use BISON Rubber Seal Textile Tape in combination with BISON Rubber Seal to bridge tears, cracks and seams, and to facilitate layer thickness build-up. Apply Rubber Seal Textile Tape immediately after applying the first layer, press well and immediately cover with the second layer. Rubber Seal is dust-free dry after approx. 3 hours, may be charged with (rain) water after 12 hours and is fully cured after 48 hours, depending on the amount applied and ambient circumstances. Minimum layer thickness: 2 mm. Usage: 1.5-2.5 L/m2
Advice
Minimum layer thickness: 2 mm.
Points of attention
Do not apply at temperatures below +5 °C. May be charged with (rain) water after 12 hours. If a joint sealant is used in combination with Rubber Seal®, we strongly recommend to use a neutral silicone sealant, for example a Silicone Sealant Construction, to prevent discoloration of the sealant.
AFTER USE:
Stains/residue
Immediately remove wet residue with water. Dried residue can only be removed mechanically.
Storage conditions
Properly sealed packages should be stored in a dry, cool, frostproof location at temperatures between +5 °C and +25 °C. Shelf life: At least 18 months in unopened package. Opened packaging reduces the shelf life.
