Ressi PlastoRend 100 is a cementitious premix thin applied pigmented plaster which can be applied at a thickness between 0.5mm to 4mm. Ressi PlastoRend 100 is to be applied over a rough plastered cementitious surface.

The product is suitable for internal and external wall surfaces. It can be easily applied with a suitable plastering machine or by hand in accordance to BS EN 13914-1 & BSEN 13914-2. Ressi PlastoRend 100 provides a modern plastering system for fast application on walls and ceilings.

Technical Data 

Appearance : Grey, white, or colored powder

Composition : Contains cement and selected aggregates along with additives
to improve consistency, work ability, and durability

Water application : 22% ± 5%

Surface Preparation

All loose particles of dust and oil shall be cleaned off the surface prior to application. for hot climatic conditions, the surface may be dampened with potable water. The rough plastered surface must be leveled prior to the application of Ressi PlastoRend 100.

Product Preparation

For manual application it is important that water is premeasured with accordance to the amount of material used. The mortar powder should be added over the water to avoid the settlement of the material at the bottom of the mixing container. It is particularly important for manual mixing methods that the same amount of water should be added for every bag, otherwise color variations may occur. 

The mixing container should be uncontaminated, non-corrosive & clean. Only potable water should be used for mixing. It is also recommended that material should be mechanically mixed with a mortar mixer or other mechanical mixing methods to obtain a consistent lump free mix.

Application

With proper surface preparation and mixing of the material, conventional plastering & Color Crete application techniques can be used to apply Ressi PlastoRend 100. However for speedy application
it is strongly recommended to do proper surface preparation and spray the material using a plastering / rendering spray machine for higher output of work.

Curing 

No curing required in general, however maximum curing for 72 hours where hot climatic conditions prevail.
