Ressi Reactive Stains are a specially formulated blend of hydrochloric acids and metallic salts. The acid opens the capillaries of the concrete, allowing the metallic salts to react with the free lime deposits and therefore staining the hydrated lime imbedded in the concrete.

Uses

Ressi Reactive Stains are durable enough for commercial applications like restaurants, showrooms and retail spaces. It can be used on new or old concrete once fully cured. The colors produced in each area will be unique in character. Multicolored intensities that become a permanent part of the concrete.

Colors

Ressi Reactive Stains are available in variety standard colors. (Diluting with water will alter the color, excessive dilution will weaken the penetration of the product. Please refer to our color shade card for Reactive Stains for further details.

Coverage

Ressi Reactive Stains will cover an average 100 SFT per 01 liter in a single coat application. (This is affected by the porosity of the concrete).

Limitation 

Ressi Reactive Stains only works when it has direct contact with the concrete. Make sure there are no sealers, waxes or other contaminants on the concrete surface. The lighter green and blue colors will darken and turn black when they are exposed to excess moisture. We strongly recommend using the greens and blue on interior projects after a moisture test on site has been completed.

Reactive stains have adverse reactions when used on concrete that was mixed with slag as a cement substitute. Reactive stains will still work on slag concrete, but the color will be unpredictable, so always try a test area.
